FOR THE PAST 6 YEARS, COLBY GROOM HAS SPENT THE DAY AFTER THANKSGIVING WITH HIS GRANDFATHER, MARK TUECHELL. MARK IS A SALES REP FOR SNAP ON TOOLS. COLBY GOES ALONG WITH HIS GRANDFATHER ON HIS SALES ROUTE SELLING FLASHLIGHTS AND OTHER SNAP ON COLLECTIBLE ITEMS. THE PROFITS MADE FROM COLBY SALES ARE MATCHED BY MARK.
EACH YEAR COLBY SELECTS AN ORGANIZATION TO DONATE HIS MONEY TO. FOR THE SECOND YEAR COLBY HAS SELECTED TOYS FOR TOTS! IN 2009 COLBY DONTATED 31 NEW TOYS. THIS YEAR HE WAS ABLE TO RAISE ENOUGH MONEY FOR A TOTAL OF 56 TOYS!

For nearly 15 years, we have helped nurture the growth of this extraordinary program, which helps bring toys to thousands of underprivileged children across Iowa. That we can play a small role in spreading the holiday spirit to Iowa’s youth is an immensely rewarding experience, and we fully intend to continue serving as one of the official Toys for Tots drop off locations in Des Moines, Iowa for the next 15 years and beyond.
